I think it could be the one to buy, perhaps there will be a bidding war and the price will go up. I know when Yahoo bought Television Without Pity, it really went downhill. Do who ever does buy it has to at least make sure its as good as it was.

I think this is a smart idea. Hopefully people from Yahoo read it. i've been a faithful consumer of Yahoo's stuff for a long time, and think another thing about them is that the tools don't disappear or seem to get worse under Yahoo. Delicious and Flickr are still good, and innovating. That has to be a selling point as well.

You make some really interesting arguments here Dave. An acquisition of Twitter might just be exactly what Yahoo needs. The question is, do either Google or Microsoft see any chance of Yahoo moving in? Do they think Yahoo could be a threat to them?

Dave: I've been with you on this prediction since you first made it. I have a ton of heart for YHOO!, not to mention Flickr and Delicious. I like your thinking here, and it's fun to throw another name into the fold that's NOT Google or FaceBook.

I'm pulling for you on this one ... well actually, I'm pulling for YHOO! on this one. They're the forgotten web powerhouse ... would love to see them back in the spotlight (for something positive)
